D Acres of New Hampshire

D Acres of NH is a non-profit organic permaculture farm, hostel and educational homestead. We host a variety of well attended workshops, lectures and events throughout the year, including our annual internationally recognized Permaculture Through the Seasons Design Certification Course. We have successfully created a hub for social and multigenerational community interaction through monthly food and music events. Our Mission Statement: D Acres is an educational center that researches, applies and teaches skills of subsistence living and small-scale organic farming. Within a shared living situation, individuals come to respect and share values of interdependence and love of nature. In addition, the organization supports educational activities directed toward improving the quality of life of residents and the community at large.

agrisound

AgriSound provides farmers and landowners with a range of hardware and software solutions for the remote monitoring of pollinators across an estate. Established in 2020, AgriSound specialises in the use of low cost environmental and acoustic sensors to monitor pollinator dynamics. We work with academics to interpret complex agricultural data and translate into a series of simple decision support systems via easy-to-access web apps.

Deepdale Farms

Welcome to Deepdale Award winning eco friendly self catering hostel accommodation and campsite on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast, 'an area of outstanding natural beauty' and the driest, warmest, sunniest region in the UK. Escape the smog and rat race of the cities to the coast, beaches and countryside around Deepdale. You can choose from a range of self catering accommodation, private ensuite rooms, tipis, yurts, shepherds huts, camping for tents & campervans, group hostel, dorm beds, all Open All Year, even Christmas and New Year. The hostel and campsite are a great place to chill or be as active as you like. All the facilities you need are on the doorstep, including a cafe, information centre, supermarket, shops, walking and hiking, cycling, watersports and kiting. We also run events throughout the year, see our event calendar for information. You can hire bikes from Deepdale Bike Hire or bring your own, enjoy the watersports and kiting all along the coast or pull on a pair of walking boots. The Coasthopper bus service runs to and from the front door meaning you don't really need to drive during your visit.
